Today is a sad day for the Raatz family, we must say goodbye to a family friend. Kado has been a big part of our lives. So many memories and that's what we must think of at this time of sadness. I will never forget showing him off to friends. He could do the world's greatest trick. You could put a treat on his nose and tell him to stay and he would just sit there until you said get it. I would have to show everyone this trick when we would visit my Dad. Everyone was always impressed with this, and so was I. Kado was my first real pet, they might have gotten him when I was in California the Summer of 95. But, I was surely happy to meet him when I got home in late August. He was a great hunter and friend. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
